The welding process takes place on a work table placed 500 mm above the floor level, which enables easy welding of heavy materials. The TARPA LWT machines have been designed to perform longitudinal seam welds on technical tarpaulin-type fabrics and is designed especially for heavy fabrics with large dimensions. Two cutouts in the machine body at the work table level allow for easy operation of the machine among the material lying on the floor and allow the edges of the sealed foil to be inserted into the welding zone in the most ergonomic way possible.
Machine movement is safe for operators thanks to safety scanners.
The machine is equipped with wheels for ease of movement and placing in a desired, for the comfort of production, place. Remote control is offered as an option. Asynchronous motor controlled by an inverter provides the possibility of smooth starting and braking as well as regulation of the travel speed. On request, the wheels are adjusted to the rails of the production hall.
The operation of the machine is easy and intuitive. All functions are controlled by a control panel with a 10 ”HMI touch screen. The user-friendly interface offers many configuration options.
The designers’ goal was to ensure that the operators could work as easily as possible, therefore the work table surface is at a comfortable height of about 500 mm from the floor. The size of the worktable depends on the model and can be up to 900 x 1300 mm. The rounded edges of the table prevent fabric from getting caught, while the magnetic surface allows to hold and position heavy fabric with magnets.
New generation reliable HF generators provides consistent welds and minimum RF exposure for operator Generates output power allows for a welding of up to 600 cm2 in one cycle – for example, it is the use of an electrode with dimensions of 1200 mm x 50 mm. The machine can be equipped with up to 300 mm wide pressure plate, which enables welding on shaped electrodes. The tooling (electrodes) can have custom shapes – rectangular, round, triangular or oval – depending on the final product look.
The electrode holder and the pneumatic pressure unit allow to work with linear electrodes up to 1200 mm length. As standard, the machine is equipped with one electrode with a length of 1200 mm. The machine can be additionally equipped with a wide range of welding tools (electrodes): classic aluminum electrodes with a smooth surface, specialized (grooved) electrodes, engraved electrodes (e.g. with the customer’s logo), electrodes equipped with pressure limiters or covered with a silicone layer ensuring smooth transitions through the welds. Flexible electrode can be also used for changeable layers welds (e.g. going from 2 layer weld to 8 layer weld and coming back to 2 layer weld again). FLEX type electrodes are useful for welding, for example corners.
The machine can be equipped with a FREEWeld System. This latest and patented technology allows welding without the use of an additional grounding electrode (grounding foot).
The machine is made in accordance with all safety standards and is CE marked.
Full diagnostic testing and certification of the local factory EMC/EMS parameters according to the latest guidelines required by the CE & UL standards. We have our own ISO 17025 certified production control and EMC laboratory providing validation of each required process parameters and the whole technological production cycle.
