Machines for the production of geomembranes

Geomembranes are one of the materials known as geosynthetics. They are characterized by high durability and are most often used as ground covers or insulation. Also, they protect the environment. Geomembranes are mostly made of PVC foil, which naturally makes them a perfect use of high-frequency welding machines manufactured by the Zemat Technology Group.

Geomembranes are made of PVC foil available in a wide range of products with different parameters such as width, thickness and texture. Depending on the intended use, the finished products also have different thicknesses. Geomembranes are resistant to difficult weather conditions, UV radiation and acid rain. These are hermetic barriers built into the subsoil to achieve various goals. Geomembranes can be used to solve geotechnical problems by separating ground layers or preventing water from entering undesirable places. They retain their properties for a long time. Their resistance and water resistance make them also used for:

Isolation in dams or floods
Isolation in viaducts or embankments
Insulation of swimming pools, ponds and other water bodies

Making the geomembrane with the use of high-frequency technology guarantees its tightness and appropriate mechanical properties. The most frequently used machine for this type of product is TARPA PRO with working table, which can be up to 100 meters long. The possibility of using two HF welding heads and their synchronous operation increases the efficiency of production of large elements.

For smaller production values, a stationary SIMPLA welding machine is sufficient. While for welding hard-to-reach places, CORNA is an ideal solution thanks to its special shape.
