imPULSE R is a pneumatic impulse welder with double-sided heating and a rotating head. It produces single and double welds in bag packaging made from thermoplastic materials.
In the imPULSE R impulse welder, the package is clamped between two bars that heat the material simultaneously from both sides. This solution ensures even heat distribution and produces a durable weld even in areas with several layers of film. After heating, the bars maintain pressure during cooling, allowing the joint to stabilise correctly.
The temperatures of the upper and lower bars can be adjusted independently. Welding time, cooling time and pressure are selected for the type of packaging and saved as a recipe. The machine also features a rotating welding head, allowing the position of the welding assembly to be adapted to the workstation layout and the way packages are fed.
In medical, pharmaceutical and food production, it is important to maintain the specified parameters from one package to the next. imPULSE R monitors temperature, pressure, welding time and cooling time during every cycle. The WCS™ system checks whether the values remain within the tolerances stored in the recipe and warns the operator of a potential nonconformity.
Cycle data can be archived, and access to settings can be restricted according to user permissions. The machine can also be supplied with calibrated sensors and the documentation needed to prepare a validated process. The scope of these items is defined for each specific configuration.

Workstation configuration
imPULSE R is ideal where the packaging process requires welding parameters to be matched to the material, monitored and documented.
Machine selection should take into account the packaging material and dimensions, weld requirements and the expected method of process control.
When purchasing a Zemat machine, customers also gain direct access to the team that knows its design, configuration and welding process. Zemat machines are supported by our own technical service team, so there is no need to rely on third-party providers or explain the machine and process from the beginning.
We support customers during installation and commissioning, train operators and maintenance teams, and provide technical service worldwide. In many cases, issues can also be diagnosed and resolved remotely by checking machine settings, recipes, process parameters or system messages without waiting for an on-site service visit.
Every welding process has different requirements, so the machine configuration is selected according to the specific product, material, component dimensions and planned production conditions.
Tell us what you need to weld and how your process works. Based on this information, we can help select the right machine model, generator power, working area, operating method, tooling and any additional equipment required.
