  • pneumatic, hydraulic or servo-electric press
  • HF/RF power matched to the process, from 10 to 45 kW
Machine overview

HF/RF welder for efficient production in a smaller footprint

SIGNA TB was designed for processes where high throughput, repeatable welds and efficient use of floor space are important. The machine uses two automatic worktables positioned one above the other, allowing alternating operation without a long horizontal shuttle arrangement.

  • compact arrangement of two worktables
  • alternating operation with a single operator
  • less floor space required than with a conventional horizontal arrangement
  • smoother workflow in series production

A stable process for demanding industries

SIGNA TB is ideal where throughput alone is not enough. In medical, automotive and premium product manufacturing, repeatable parameters, quality control, surface appearance and the ability to reproduce settings for subsequent batches are important.

  • control of welding parameters, temperature and pressing force
  • recipe storage for repeatable production processes
  • data logging and traceability support available
  • stable operating conditions for products requiring high-quality workmanship
  • tooling matched to the component, material and required surface finish

Key benefits of SIGNA TB

  1. Higher throughput in a smaller footprint
The vertical two-table arrangement allows alternating operation without a long shuttle system, making better use of production floor space.
  2. Shorter pauses between cycles
The operator can prepare the next component while the machine performs a cycle on the other table, creating a smoother production process.
  3. Stable processing for demanding products
Control of pressing force, temperature, HF power and time helps maintain repeatable operating conditions in series production.
  4. Multiple technologies in one machine
The machine can handle HF welding, embossing and heat press processes, depending on the material and product requirements.
  5. Ideal for premium products
Stable pressing force, controlled temperature and product-specific tooling help achieve a neat, repeatable surface finish.

Safety and process control

Zemat high frequency welding machines use systems designed to support operator safety, protect key machine components and maintain process stability. These solutions help protect the electrode, material, generator and work area, while process monitoring systems enable fast detection of irregularities and help maintain repeatable welding parameters.

  • AntiFlash™ – a fully solid-state, maintenance-free system that protects the electrode and material against electrical arcing.
  • WCS™ – a system for monitoring welding cycle parameters.
  • ATS™ – a system for automatic adjustment of HF/RF output power.
  • EMC mains filters designed to protect the customer’s electrical network against electromagnetic interference.
  • Enclosed and shielded welding chamber designed to effectively protect the operator from exposure to electromagnetic fields.
  • The machine complies with current machinery safety requirements and applicable standards. Compliance is confirmed by complete Technical Documentation, an EC/EU Declaration of Conformity supplied with each machine, and CE marking.
  • Optional safety light curtains for an increased level of operator protection.

Measurement Laboratory

For machines manufactured by Zemat, mandatory electromagnetic field (EMF) emission measurements are carried out in the working environment. The tests are performed by the Mobilab laboratory operating within Zemat Technology Group. The measurement laboratory works in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and holds PCA accreditation, confirming the quality of its services and the reliability of measurement results.

What is SIGNA TB used for?

SIGNA TB is a high-frequency welder for series production. It is ideal for products requiring repeatable HF welds, stable pressing force, parameter control and an efficient workflow in limited floor space.

What is distinctive about the table arrangement in SIGNA TB?

The machine has two shuttle tables positioned one above the other. This allows alternating operation at two stations while reducing the production floor space required.

How does SIGNA TB differ from SIGNA DUO?

SIGNA TB uses two vertically stacked worktables on one side of the machine. SIGNA DUO also has two tables, but in a conventional shuttle arrangement. SIGNA TB is a good choice where saving space is important.

Can SIGNA TB be operated by one person?

Yes. Locating both tables on one side of the machine makes single-operator use easier. The operator can prepare the next component on one table while the other is in the welding zone.

What processes can SIGNA TB perform?

SIGNA TB can perform HF welding, embossing and heat press processes. Depending on the version, temperature, pressing force and HF energy can also be combined in one process.

Which industries is SIGNA TB suitable for?

The machine is suitable for automotive, medical, rehabilitation, aerospace, protective and technical applications. It is designed for production where repeatability, appearance and process control are important.

What materials can be processed with SIGNA TB?

SIGNA TB can handle materials used in HF welding and embossing, including PVC, PU, TPU, PA, films, foams, technical textiles and natural or synthetic leather. Parameter selection depends on the material and product.

Is SIGNA TB suitable for premium products?

Yes. Stable pressing force, controlled temperature, dedicated tooling and recipe storage help maintain repeatable results for products where surface appearance and workmanship are important.

Can tooling be made for a specific product?

Yes. Electrodes, moulds and working components can be made for a specific part, material and process. Zemat's in-house tooling department can tailor tools to the product geometry and required welding or embossing result.

Does SIGNA TB store process recipes?

Yes. The HMI panel with PLC control allows recipes to be saved for different products and operating cycles. This simplifies production changeovers and helps maintain repeatable settings across subsequent batches.

Can the machine record process data?

Depending on the version, SIGNA TB can support process data logging, tool identification, barcodes and traceability functions. This is important in production requiring quality control and the ability to reproduce cycle parameters.
